Enrolment is now open for Nigerian students between the ages of 8 and 13.

Regisitration is N250,000 per student

Spell it Nigeria timeline

Phase 1: Sept-Oct 2024

Students between 8-13 years can enrol via our website.

Phase 2: Oct-Nov 2024

Students are given access to the e-learning portal where they receive resources and are trained for the competition.

Phase 3: Nov-Dec 2024

After their training, spellers get to spell onstage at this semi-finals level. Qualified spellers make it to the National Finals

Phase 4: January 2025

Qualified National Finalists will receive more training sessions virtually to prepare for the National Finals

Phase 5: February 2025

Spellers compete for a chance to be declared Spell It Nigeria’s 1st ever champion!

Phase 6: March – May 2025

The winner begins preparing for the Scripps Spelling Bee which takes place in Washington, D.C. in May/June 2025

The new pricing will be twofold: an Early Bird Offer is available for those who register on or before 31 January at N200,000. From 1 February onwards, the price will increase to N250,000.
